Know exactly what you’re buying
Plot dimensions on a file and the “size” a dealer quotes don’t always agree. A plot advertised as 10 Marla might measure 35 ft by 65 ft on the ground — and the only way to be sure is to do the maths. This calculator turns raw length-and-width figures into a clear area in Marla, Kanal, square feet and square yards, so you can compare two plots fairly even when they’re quoted in different units.
How the calculation works
Area is simply length × width. We convert your dimensions to square feet (1 yard = 3 feet, 1 meter = 3.28 feet), multiply them, and then translate the total into every land unit. For pricing, we take the area expressed in your chosen rate unit — Marla, Kanal or square yard — and multiply by the rate you entered. The result is an instant, transparent estimate of the plot’s market value.
A quick word on accuracy
Use the 225 Marla for most modern societies and the 272.25 (Punjab) Marla when a plot is described against older land records. The figures here are precise, but the final word always belongs to the official site plan and registry. When you’ve found the right size, browse plots and homes for sale to see what’s on the market.
